PORTFOLIO

For the portfolio part of the deliverables I decided to create a physical portfolio using a portfolio folder. I also included one within my website. For my physical portfolio I decided to include a selection on images. I decided that I didn’t want to include just the images from BAPH205 Aspiration and Actualisation. I have such a wide variety of images, and image styles that I wanted to show them. I started with my ‘In the city’ images because that is the personal project that is a part of the BAPH205 project.

I feel confident enough with this portfolio to show to future clients. I feel like it shows my type of photography and the type of person that I am.

To create my portfolio I decided to use smaller images of 6×8, stuck onto the middle of a black piece of card. I feel like the black backing to the images not only makes them stronger, but also emphasises the images and makes them look more  aesthetic.

Within my portfolio I decided to include college work, as well as personal work. I am very happy with the outcome of my portfolio. It is not as professional as it could have been, but I did not have the funds to do so. however, due to the card as backing and the selection of images I have chosen, and that I do like the simplistic feel of the folder, I do like the outcome of my portfolio. I would be happy showing this to clients, and I feel like it does showcase my work.
